Volunteer with the Yorkton SPCA and support day-to-day shelter care plus community fundraising events. Volunteers help wherever the need is that day, from walking dogs and grooming animals to cleaning, scrubbing kennels, and outdoor cleanup around the building. They also welcome volunteers for events like their annual garage sale and hot dog sales. They’re open to volunteers age 13+ and they ask that volunteers have an up-to-date tetanus vaccination. To get started, you can pick up a volunteer form and COVID-19 waiver at the office, or print the forms and bring them in so the team can meet you and schedule you in.
